Revenue per mille (RPM) is the estimated earnings that accrue for every 1000 visits received (in Latin, mille means thousand). It is a commonly used measurement in radio, television, newspaper, magazine, out-of-home, and online advertising. It is used in marketing as a benchmarking metric to calculate the relative cost of an advertising campaign or an ad message in a given medium. It is calculated by dividing the estimated earnings by the number of unique page views, impressions or queries received, then multiplying by 1000.
How is this helpful for the Sublime Revenue affiliate? Simple! This way you would be able to calculcate your estimate earnings per traffic channel. For example, you buy pop ads with our smart link and they cost you 0.25 € per thousand visits. If your RPM is higher than that in your stats table for that traffic channel, keep on buying!
